Delegation of Ministry of Health of Russia visited the Gudauta Central Regional Hospital and the Sukhum Infectious Diseases Hospital

Prime Minister was told about the results of the joint work of the Ministry of Health of Abkhazia and Russia.

 Sukhum. July 23, 2020. Apsnypress. Prime Minister of the Republic of Abkhazia Alexander Ankvab met with representatives of the delegation of Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

 The meeting was attended by Minister of Health of Abkhazia Tamaz Tsakhnakiya and Deputy Minister Alkhas Kondzhariya.

 Minister introduced the arrived colleagues to Prime Minister: “Specialists from the Ministry of Health of Russia came to us in order to provide consultative and methodological assistance to medical institutions of Abkhazia providing specialized assistance to patients with the new coronavirus infection Covid-19. The delegation involved head of the department for organization of inpatient and specialized medical care of the Office for organization of medical care for adults population of the Ministry of Health of the Krasnodar Territory Dmitry Gurbich, chief freelance specialist-epidemiologist of the Ministry of Health of the Krasnodar Territory, head of the epidemiological department of the GBUZ "Clinical Oncological Dispensary 1" Irina Anishchuk, infectious disease specialist of the group of analysis of assistance in infectious diseases of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "NMITs" FPI of the Ministry of Health of Russia Alexander Dmitriev.

 Tsakhnakiya told that Abkhazian and Russian colleagues visited the Gudauta Central Regional Hospital and Sukhum Infectious Diseases Hospital.

 “We examined the hospital in Gudauta and got acquainted with the material and technical base, the number of beds, the organization of the work of the medical staff. We got acquainted with the materials of the routing of an applied patient. In addition, we were told how PCR diagnostics for coronavirus infection is carried out here, ” Dmitry Gurbich told Alexander Ankvab.

After visiting medical institutions, Russian specialists took part in a meeting at the Ministry of Health of Abkhazia.
