Delegation of officials from the Ministry of Economy held a regular meeting in Ochamchira district

Sukhum. July 14. Apsnypress. Scheduled meetings with the heads of districts, towns, representatives of the business community are informative.

Following the presentation of the staff of the Ministry of Economy of lending programs in Abkhazia, they passed a broad discussion. Representatives of the village administrations and local businessmen were interested in details of the conditions of participation in the program of lending to small businesses, initiated by the National Bank of Abkhazia. They expressed their proposals on their optimization. 

 As in other areas of the country, all the proposals were recorded and will be forwarded to the National Bank. 

The meeting discussed the current economic situation in the region, future plans and future directions of development of the district. 

Ochamchira district has a huge agricultural potential. For the implementation of this program in the area were allocated 40 million rubles. Based on the fact that the deadline for applications for participation will expire on July 15, and most area businesses do not fit the program, or are not able to fulfill the conditions offered by the National Bank, the funds can not be disbursed. For this reason, the district administration and the local people expressed the hope that the National Bank will take into account their proposals, and the duration of the program will last until the end of the month. 

After the conversation was done site visits for production of corn flour and packaging, which is required to run the procurement of the missing equipment. Also, representatives of the Ministry of Economy visited the construction site in the thermal spring glasshouse, project of immigrant from Turkey and turkish entrepreneur. 

Head of Ochamchira district Beslan Akhuba noted the usefulness of such meetings to facilitate effective implementation of economic policy in the country and thanked the delegation for the organization of the event, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of RA.
