Delegation of the Parliament of Abkhazia will take part in the International Forum on Development of Parliamentarism

Its participants are invited to discuss a wide range of issues on the international parliamentary agenda within the forum.

Sukhum. June 3. Apsnypress. Speaker of the People's Assembly of Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia Valery Kvarchia arrived in Moscow to participate in the International Forum on Development of Parliamentarism. The parliamentary delegation also includes head of the Parliament's Office Vadim Bzhaniya.

 The delegation was met by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation Igor Akhba and coordinator of the deputy group of the State Duma for relations with the Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee Andrey Krasov. 

 During the meeting the sides discussed further plans for the Abkhaz-Russian interparliamentary cooperation. Also Speaker of the People's Assembly of Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia Valery Kvarchia gave an interview to a correspondent of the Parliamentary newspaper. Kvarchia spoke about the purpose of the visit to Moscow and interaction between Abkhaz Parliament. At the same time, Valery Kvarchia expressed gratitude for the invitation to Chairman of the State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, and noted that Abkhazia attaches great importance to deepening Abkhaz-Russian inter-parliamentary cooperation and possibility of expanding direct international parliamentary contacts at the sites of the scheduled forum.

Within the framework of the forum its participants are invited to discuss a wide range of issues on the international parliamentary agenda, including the exchange of best practices in the regulation of new spheres of relations and consideration of applied aspects of modern rulemaking.
