There was a meeting in Moscow of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Kan Taniya with the pro-rector for the MA programs and international programs of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations Andrey Baykov. The press service of the Embassy of Abkhazia in Russian reported.
During the meeting, they discussed issues related to the enter of students of secondary schools of Abkhazia at MGIMO for 2017-2018.
The pro-rector informed the deputy heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia about the progress of 43 students from Abkhazia studying at the university.
The parties expressed readiness for further cooperation.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation Igor Akhba.
