Press Secretary of President of Russia Dmitry Peskov commented on the appeal of the acting President of Abkhazia Valery Bganba regarding the actions of a number of Russian mass media disseminating misinformation about the state of health of presidential candidate, deputy of the National Assembly of Parliament Aslan Bzhaniya, which was transmitted today to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation of the Republic of Abkhazia Alexey Dvinyanin at a bilateral meeting.
 
 The appeal of the leadership of Abkhazia with a request to initiate a case on the poisoning of the presidential candidate Aslan Bzhaniya will be brought to the leadership of Russia. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to press secretary of President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
 
“This appeal, of course, will be brought to Smolenskaya Square through diplomatic channels, will be reported to the country's leadership and will be analyzed accordingly,” Peskov told reporters.
