Dzhuma Kvaratskhelia: people who were rooting for us, became the 12th player in the field

FFA President, the head coach, captain and national team players told journalists about the results of the World Football Cup under the auspices of ConIFA 2016 and the prospects for the national team of Abkhazia at a press conference.

"It is impossible to convey in words that unity, which was at the stadium. All matches were held in a tense struggle, lots of energy were spent at every game", - Ajinjal said.
 
 Ajinjal said: "We want to participate in FIFA, but not everything depends on us". At the same time, he recalled that on one of the press conferences FIFA agent assured: "Abkhazia will participate in this tournament".
 
 On the preparation of the national team for the championship spoke head coach Dzhuma Kvaratskhelia. According to him, the team has been training hard, but was held in a good working environment. "The main problem was that all the players had different training. Some came before, and some later, we had began to prepare the team from May 24, we had five days. I want to thank all the coaches who prepared the players for the Championship, 70% of success depended on them", - Kvaratskhelia said.
 
 According to the head coach, the team of Abkhazia team had 24 players. He noted the enormous fatigue of players after the match, so they were constantly changing, with the exception of defensive line.
 
   Dzhuma Kvaratskhelia remembered his own words, he said earlier that "in any case, the team of Abkhazia would be in the final". And commented them today: "It did not matter with whom we would meet in the final. In any case, it was necessary to did our best. So many people had hoped for us, and we had no right to disappoint them. Those people who were in the stadium cheering for us became the 12th player in the field".
 
 The head coach said: "All the guys who came, return to their football clubs. Once they became world champions, they are unlikely to be released". He also spoke about the details of the preparation: "All the players have been motivated, as this event is very significant. Many efforts have been put in the championship. Coaches talked about guideline, the way of playing, but they were determined to win, the players were with burning eyes, they gave 100% on every game." 
 
 Captain Henry Hagush told about his impressions of the Championship: "The most intense was the final game. Of course, when you play at home it is a big responsibility! And it plays better with support of fans". 
 
 At the same time Dzhuma Kvaratskhelia added: "In the final game, we were confident that will score a goal. But there was a lot of experiences in the 11 meters. When the goalkeeper Alexey Bondarenko had not missed a goal, we have said that we would win this game. And then Bondarenko rescued us for the second time. We were charged only for victory!" The head coach shared that before the game, he asked God to help the team.
 
 Ajinjal told about his impressions and mood of the opponents. Thus, according to him, the president of the Federation of Punjab football was delighted with the hospitality of the Abkhazians, he even said, "Can I move in to you, in Abkhazia to live?" 
 
 Summarizing the press conference Dzhuma Kvaratskhelia said: "The main thing is that we managed to give our long-suffering people at least seven days of smiles. We did not want to make this championship came to an end!"
