Ethno-cultural center project involves the creation in Otkhara on the area of eight hectares a traditional Abkhazian yard with the house apatsha, barn, mill, apiary, winery and other objects of everyday life.
Sukhum. March 19th. Apsnypress. The Abkhazian State Museum JSC "Otkhara" presented the project of ethno-cultural park in the same village. At the event was shown a video presentation.
The organizer of the project - an initiative group led by advisor to the President Vladimir Zantariya and Head of the Department of Culture of Gagra district Slava Sakaniya.
The group - Astamur Logua Nuri Vanacha and Iua Sakaniya. Project organizers announced the results of the economic analysis of the project as a means of implementing the project, a system of public-private partnership in which the state will own a controlling stake.
According to Nuri Vanacha, in project involved ethnologists, historians, artisans, tourism experts and economists. By order of the head of administration of the Gudauta district, has already been allocated a plot of land in the village Otkhara.
The presentation was attended by parliament speaker Valeriy Bganba, president of the Academy of Sciences Zurab Dzhapua, the chief ecologist of the country Saveliy Chitanava, members of the Writers' Union, ethnographers, historians and other representatives of the Abkhaz intellectuals.
