«We are excited about this exhibition, as it is collected exclusively from the collection of the National Gallery. For the first time in the last twenty years we export funds outside the country. The exposition covers a very interesting period, 70th, 80th and 90th years of the last century, the period of formation of professional Abkhaz Fine Arts, where multicultural environment unites artists of different generations, different nationalities and therefore the exhibition should be interesting for the audience outside Abkhazia " , - said the minister of culture and protection of historical and cultural heritage Elvira Arsaliya.

According to her, this exhibition is the final event of the cultural season "Russia-Abkhazia".

The exhibition is organized and conducted within the framework of the cultural season "Russia-Abkhazia" by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation together with the Ministry of Culture and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Abkhazia.
