Export and import licensing regulated

Parliamentarians made changes to some legislative acts regulating foreign economic activity.

Sukhum. April 4. Apsnypress. Deputies adopted the draft law of the Republic of Abkhazia “On amendments to certain legislative acts regarding regulation to foreign economic activities” at the session of the National Assembly of Parliament of Abkhazia.
 
 Introducing the document, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Budget, Credit Organizations, Taxes and Finance Inal Tarba explained: “The need for adopting the draft law is due to the existing conflict of laws of the RA Law on Licensing of Certain Types of Activities and On the Rates of Customs Duties and Customs Charges according to them by-laws, in terms of licensing of foreign economic activity. With the entry into force of the RA Law on Licensing of Certain Types of Activities and the adoption for implementation of its other regulatory legal acts, the situation has arisen when the licensing of export and import of the same goods is simultaneously regulated by the laws of the RA On Licensing of Certain Types of Activities and On Rates of customs duties ". Such a bill defines general approaches on the part of the state in licensing certain types of activities. "
 
 The bill is passed in the second and final reading.
