Five people confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis

These are employees of medical institutions who have been in contact with previously infected people.

Sukhum. July 24, 2020. Apsnypress. Over the past day, biomaterial for testing coronavirus infection was taken from 236 people. The diagnosis of COVID-19 was confirmed in 5 people. These are persons  among the patients and employees of the capital's medical institutions who had contact with those infected with coronavirus detected on July 22.

 According to operational headquarters to protect the population from coronavirus, they are all asymptomatic carriers of the infection, their disease is mild.

 The survey of all contact persons is ongoing.

 The total number of detected cases of coronavirus in Abkhazia today is 45 people. Of these, 37 people recovered, one patient born in 1925 died.
