Flower laying ceremony was held in the Park of Glory in Sukhum

The ceremony of laying flowers to the Memorial of people killed in the War of Abkhazia in 1992-1993 was held in memory of the March offensive operations in the Park of Glory in Sukhum.

Commander of the air force of Abkhazia Major-General Adgur Gumba recalls that in the March attack he was involved as a simple soldier in the composition of the infantry. Anna Shanava - mother of the died in the March attack Edward Shanava, said that she last saw her son before the war, on 26 July. "Last time I saw him when he came back from the army. He was 20 years ", - said the woman. In the March offensive operation Edward participated in the group "Veterok" and died in Uchkhoz area. "The guys who were with him said that they could not took his body for 3-4 days, and the rest of the dead soldiers of their group remained on the battlefield.
