Meeting was devoted to summarizing the summer holiday season 2015 as well as the discussion of the technology works and order of customs operations in respect of persons, goods and vehicles at checkpoints on the Abkhaz-Russian state border during the citrus season.

During the meeting the sides discussed a number of issues on development of common approaches to the joint venture. The head of the customs post MAPP Adler cited statistic that shows each year an increasing burden on the customs checkpoint Adler. So, for 10 months of 2015 the border crossed 7 million 575 thousand people and 1.382 million vehicles. For the same period last year - 6.21 million people and about 975,000 vehicles. For individuals, the increase was 22%, in respect of vehicles - 41.7%. The maximum load in the design and control of individuals and vehicles each year occurs in August.

Russian side is taking all necessary measures for the optimization of customs procedures during peak periods. For people following tour buses and buses in international traffic, the principle of sampling, the risk management system provides for the refusal of full unloading luggage. Organized workplaces of inspectors, carring out control of the vehicle on the line of passenger buses, allowing you to implement the principle of "one window". Since June, it was put into operation an additional lane passenger cars at the entrance to the checkpoint.

customs clearance and customs control of goods and vehicles

customs authorities expressed their common view on the need to develop
further co-operation in all areas.
