That is, there are the so-called "poor" areas in the Republic in which educators are paid several times lower than in others ", - told "Apsnypress", First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Gvaramiya.
According to him, up to this point there was no legal act that would regulate this issue. The base salary is intended to create a single bar minimum salary for workers of the educational system, which guarantees the republican authorities. This sets the minimum wage, in villages and in towns, and if the budget of the district is unable to provide the necessary level of wage employees, for these purposes it will be allocated from the republican budget.
Within the new decree the necessary norm staffing schedules are also developing. According to Gvaramiya, in general it will stop the outflow of teachers from rural to urban areas.
