Foreign Ministers of Abkhazia and Russia signed a memorandum "On the mechanism of implementation of a coordinated foreign policy"

Memorandum "On the mechanism of implementation of a coordinated foreign policy" involves the creation of a permanent mechanism of mutual information and consultation between the Foreign Ministries of Abkhazia and Russia and is aimed at the implementation of Article 4 of the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia "On the alliance and strategic partnership". The document also includes assistance in expanding the number of countries that recognize Abkhazia with the help of the Russian Federation, as well as assistance in joining international organizations in Abkhazia. 

In addition to the signing of a memorandum diplomats of the two countries discussed a number of issues, such as: increasing the number of annual allocation of seats in educational institutions of Russia for the preparation of diplomats and mode of crossing the border on the river Psou, which as noted Chirikba does not correspond to the relations of friendly and allied countries. 

"This is a huge brake to the tourist flow. And we hope that our request will be heard", - he said. In this case, Abkhazian Foreign Minister recalled that in parallel with the work to simplify the customs regime at the river Psou, should take place to strengthen the state border and at the river Ingur.
