The RA MFA expressed grave concern over the extremely destructive actions of the Georgian government and, in particular, personally of Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze.
Sukhum. June 27. Apsnypress. At a briefing in the Georgian government's administration on June 26, Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze stated that at the moment 33 people have been added to the "List of Otkhozoriya-Tatunashvili", who since 1991 to date committed various crimes against Georgian citizens in the territory of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia expressed grave concern over the extremely destructive actions of the Georgian government and, in particular, personally of Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze. The Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia believes that such actions "are provocative and can completely destroy the work of the Geneva international discussions aimed at resolving existing conflicts in the South Caucasus."
"The statement of Prime Minister of Georgia once again demonstrates the aggressive nature of policy of the Georgian leadership towards Abkhazia and its citizens and seriously undermines the foundations of existing negotiation process. In fact, the Georgian side without any objective reasons, presented accusations of violation of human rights to the citizens of Abkhazia and South Ossetia and added them to the "black list", implying the imposition of personal sanctions at the international level.
The Abkhaz side will continue to closely monitor the situation in connection with the decision taken by Prime Minister of Georgia, directly affecting the interests of the citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia.
This topic will be brought by the Abkhaz side to the agenda of the upcoming meeting of participants within the framework of the incident prevention and response mechanism (IPRM), which will be held on June 27 in Gal.
At the same time, the Abkhaz side assigns all responsibility for the possible destruction of the only international format for the settlement of conflicts in the South Caucasus personally to Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze, " - the comment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia states.
