Foreigners will be responsible for labor activities without a permission

The session of the National Assembly of the Parliament of Abkhazia discussed the draft law "On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Offences".

Presenting the bill, MP Dmitry Gunba explained that the development of this bill is due to the need to make amendments to Chapter 13 of the Republic of Abkhazia, the Code of administrative offenses in the field of a mode of stay of foreign citizens in the territory of the republic. According to him, "the bill establishes the responsibility for re-commit within one year of such an offense by a foreign national, as the implementation of labor activity in the Republic of Abkhazia without permission to work".
 
 Also, the bill provides responsibility of a foreign national to work in profession, not specified in the authorization to work or labor activity outside the administrative-territorial units in the Republic of Abkhazia, the territory of which this citizen granted a work permit or a patent. In addition, the draft law establishes responsibility for not making changes to the information contained in the authorization to work. Also, on no notification the authorized body on the conclusion and termination of labor contracts.
 
The bill is adopted in the first reading.
