Garmeliya about "Bridge" movie: we have created a world without much specificity of time and place of action

Sukhum. April 13. Apsnypress. Premiere of the debut film "Bridge" by young Abkhaz director Naur Garmeliya will be held on April 18 at the State Russian Drama Theatre.
 
 The plot tells the story of 10-year-old boy and his father, living in seclusion in the province of Abkhazia. The story shows the post-war period, in which the young hero has to fight not only for his life but also his father's.
 
 The main roles are played by non-professional actors. Filming took place in Eastern Abkhazia.
 
 According to the young director, originally the task was to make dumb etude. To make movie without a text and dialogue. To shoot it in a way when the words are not needed and everything is clear without them.
 
 "I decided to make a film about the relationship between father and son. Everything happens in the postwar period. We have created a world without much specificity of time and place of action. It was interesting to see how people are recovering from the war, as a person grows in such circumstances that he sees around him. But the picture is still about love ", - said Naur Garmeliya.
