During the visit, meetings were held humanitarian, economic and political nature. This caused a flurry of negative emotions by Georgian officials.

The reason of an anger of Tbilisi is obvious - visit of the Minister violates Georgia's plans for maximum isolation of Abkhazia from contact with the outside world. Statements of Georgian officials reflect their vision of relations with Abkhazia as forming around the last fence of barbed wire.
