Gogua: if we want to build a strong future in the Abkhazian state, we must remember the past and with this experience look into the future

 There was a memorable meeting after laying ceremony at the monument to Muhajirs. 
 
 Presidential Adviser on Culture, Science and Education, Vladimir Zantariya stressed that the historical memory is the basis of the state ideology. "In the XIX century, our people had experienced the terrible tragedy of the deportation of the Mountain Peoples of the Caucasus. It unsettled our fraternal peoples, and we still feel the consequences of this tragedy. We are obliged to carry out the tradition of memorial days, to remember the people who were victims of this terrible war and to think about how to educate the younger generation on this historical memory", - Zantariya said.
 
 President of the public organization "International Fund Apsny" Soner Gogua said that today's commemorative events take place in all countries where the Abkhaz diaspora lives. "First of all, it is Turkey, where our diaspora is the most numerous. It is a great joy that the returnees return home. We hope that there will be more of them, and together we will build a strong state, as Vladislav Ardzinba said once. May 21 is a memorable date for the Abkhaz-Adyghe people, for the whole Caucasus. We must not forget our history. If we want to build a strong future in the Abkhazian state, we must remember the past and with this experience look into the future", - Gogua said.
