Health facilities of Gagra district will be reorganized

Sukhum. July 23. Apsnypress. As a result of an inspection visit of the Ministry of Health to Gagra district, particularly to Pitsunda, Alahadzy, Tsandryphsh, as well as medical facilities of Gagra, it was decided to reorganize the health centers, outpatient clinics and medical stations in the area, according to IT department of the Ministry of Health. 

As the Deputy Minister of Health Batal Katsiya, inspection results can be assessed as "not satisfactory". Therefore, according to the presidential decree on the state of optimization, it was decided to reorganize structurally and staffing of a number of rural outpatient clinics and medical stations in Gagra district. Some work will be suspended, others will change the profile and status, which, according to Katsiya, should affect the effectiveness and efficiency of health care provision, including the holiday season.
