There were held regular consultations within the framework of foreign policy coordination mechanism established by the Memorandum between the Russian Foreign Ministry and the Foreign Ministry of Abkhazia on March 11, 2015, according to the press service of the Embassy of Abkhazia in Russia.
The consultations were attended by Director of the Fourth CIS States Department at the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexey Pavlovsky and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation Igor Akhba.
They discussed a wide range of issues, including the context of the upcoming in Moscow on November 30 ministerial consultations. They also exchanged views on prospects of bilateral Russian-Abkhaz cooperation.
