Igor Akhba met with students of RANHiGS

The ambassador spoke about the history of the Abkhazian diplomacy, the Embassy in Moscow and the Russian-Abkhazian relations.

Apsnypress. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation Igor Akhba met with students from Abkhazia, who are currently studying at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation.
 
 The ambassador spoke about the history of the Abkhazian diplomacy, the Embassy in Moscow and the Russian-Abkhazian relations.
 
 Akhba discussed with students the issues of preparation and participation in the action "Immortal regiment", which will be held in Moscow on May 9. He noted that the participation in the march is organized jointly with the Embassy of the Moscow Abkhaz diaspora.
 
 "To participate in this event - the duty of everyone, whose relatives fought against fascism. In 1941 more than 55 thousand people from Abkhazia went to the front, and more than 17,000 of them were killed, and 5000 missing. Many of them were awarded orders and medals, including a posthumous, 22 people were awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. No doubt, there are those who fought on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War among your relatives", - said the ambassador, referring to the young people.
 
Also during the meeting the students talked about their studies. Igor Akhban stressed that they must stydy excellently, to continue to adequately represent their country, and wished them successful pass of the upcoming session.
