In memory of the bitter March 93rd: The fallen heroes were honored in the Park of Glory

The March offensive of the Abkhaz troops to liberate the capital of Abkhazia is 27 years old.

Sukhum. March 16. Apsnypress. A ceremony of laying flowers at the Memorial to the people of Abkhazia who died in the Patriotic War of 1992-1993 was held in memory of the March offensive operation.

 To honor the memory of the fallen heroes came Acting President of the Republic of Abkhazia Valery Bganba, Speaker of the National Assembly of Parliament  Valery Kvarchiya, representatives of the Government, veterans, statesmen and public figures, citizens.  

   Acting Head of the Administration of Sukhum, a war veteran, Knight of the Order of Leon Kan Kvarchiya shared his memories: “We were all sure that we could enter our city and liberate the capital. This is a memorable date that has remained in our hearts. We have lost a lot of irreplaceable people, the best sons of Abkhazia. We must not forget this date. It is necessary to tell the younger generation about all the horrors through which they had to go. We must always be united and inseparable. ”
