In The Foreign Ministry of the PMR the Plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Transnistria met with the Deputy Prime Minister for International Cooperation and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Transdniestrian Moldovan Republic held a meeting with the Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie Alexander Vataman and the Deputy Prime Minister for International Cooperation and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Nina Shtanski. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Schornikov.

The leadership of MFA PMR and Plenipotentiary Representative of Abkhazia discussed the state and prospects of cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural and other areas of cooperation between the two republics.

Were identified current trends in Transdniestrian-Abkhaz relations for 2015. These areas include the interaction of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Education, Agriculture, Interior, through the Youth and Sports. Particular attention will be paid to the joint work of experts in the field of media, in particular, it is planned several joint projects of the two state broadcasters AGTRK and PGTRK. Further development in 2015 will receive the cooperation of the two state universities - Abkhazia and Transnistria.

During the meeting on behalf of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Vyacheslav Chirikba the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Abkhazia in Pridnestrovie presented Nina Shtanski a congratulatory address on the occasion of the Day of Diplomatic Service of the TMR with the wishes of further victories in the diplomatic field.
