Increased pensions will be paid approximately in 2 months after the signing of the Agreement

Presenting the agreement "On the Procedure and co-financed from the funds of the Russian Federation higher wages of government workers of RA in health, education, science, culture, sport and social services of citizens", the Finance Minister Amra ​​Kvarandziya explained that in calculating the average number of payments was taken for the state in 2014. "If later the department states want to expand , they will have to do it at their own expense", - said Kvarandziya. 

In addition, considering the draft Agreement "On Pension Provision of the Russian citizens permanently residing in the territory of Abkhazia", it was noted that the pension will be recalculated starting from January 1st, 2015. But, according to Amra Kvarandziya, these agreements are interstate, the general procedure to be ratified and enter into force after the presidents of both countries will exchange instruments of ratification. Speaking about the timing of the start of increased payments, the Finance Minister said: "In my opinion, after the signing, this can happen in about 2 months". 

"Unfortunately, the rise in prices mainly start in April, due to the global financial crisis, because of the events in Russia will increase energy prices, which will cause the growth of all other prices. It is therefore necessary to develop measures that will help alleviate this process in our country", - said the Prime Minister Artur Mikvabiya.
