International scientific conference "Caucasus in historical processes of the XX-XXI centuries" opened in Sukhum

The forum is attended by guests from Russia, Belarus, South Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Adygea, Karachay-Cherkessia.

Apsnypress. International scientific conference "Caucasus in the historical processes of the XX-XXI centuries" opened in Sukhum, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Victory in the War of Abkhazia of 1992-1993 and the 10th anniversary of the international legal recognition of the Republic of Abkhazia. The event is attended by guests from Russia, Belarus, South Ossetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Adygea, Karachaevo-Cherkessia.
  
 The forum was opened by director of the Abkhazian Institute of Humanitarian Studies Arda Ashuba: "This year we celebrate significant historical dates for the entire Abkhazian people. Today we are following the path of formation and development of an independent Abkhazian state. Visitors have come to us from scientific institutes in Russia, Belarus, South Ossetia and other countries. I want to thank them for participating in the conference. The main theme of the conference is the Patriotic War of the people of Abkhazia, and other reports on topical problems of Abkhazia and the Caucasus in general will be heard here. I wish all conference participants successful work for the benefit of the world science of their countries and all of humanity. "
  
 The work of the conference is divided into 3 sections. The first one is called "The Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia of 1992-1993", the second one - "The Caucasus and Abkhazia in New and Modern Times", the third one - "Formation of a New World Order and Regional Security".
 
 The conference will last until September 20.
