It is planned to conduct cross-cultural days of Karachay-Cherkessia and Abkhazia

The delegation of Abkhazia is on a three-day working visit in Karachay-Cherkessia.

Sukhum. February 26. Apsnypress. In the framework of the working visit the delegation from Abkhazia met with the Chairman of the Government of KCR Ruslan Kazanokov. The meeting was attended by KCR Deputy Prime Minister Murat Ozov, Minister of tourism, resorts and youth policy Anzor Erkenov, Culture Minister Madina Gogova. The meeting was opened by Ruslan Kazanokov, who stressed the need to develop and maintain the bilateral relations between the fraternal republics.

There were raised issues of socio-economic, spiritual and cultural cooperation between Karachay-Cherkessia and Abkhazia, outlined plans for joint activities in the current year.

Within the framework of cultural cooperation it is planned to conduct cross-cultural days of Karachay-Cherkessia and Abkhazia, the festival dedicated to the works of the famous writer Fazil Iskander, exhibitions of Abkhazian artists in Karachay-Cherkessia, and others.
 
 "Karachay-Cherkessia and Abkhazia are bound by historical, family and cultural ties. The most important task is to move all planned arrangements into action", - shared during a press conference, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Abkhazia Elvira Arsaliya. "We try to maintain cultural ties, primarily with our neighbors and friends. And cooperation with Abkhazia plays a significant role in this regard. We will implement all the plans outlined in the framework of the Agreement on cooperation between the leaders of Karachay-Cherkessia and Abkhazia ", - added the Minister of Culture of KCR Madina Gogova.

During the visit, the guests will visit Abazin municipal district, as well as Karachaevsk, which will host a series of meetings with elders and youth. In addition, it is  planned an introduction to the cultural and historical monuments and tourist potential of the region.

The Abkhaz delegation includes RA Security Council Secretary Mohamed Kilba, Minister of Culture and Protection of Abkhazian historical and cultural heritage Elvira Arsaliya, RA President's Advisor for Science, Culture and Education, Vladimir Zantariya, chairman of the RA State Committee on youth policy Alias ​​Avidzba.
