"For us it is important to change the system of issuing Abkhaz passports and not to repeat the mistakes made in the past years", - said, opening the presentation of the new Abkhazian passports, head of the Working Group to prepare the conditions for entering a new sample of the passport of the citizen of Abkhazia, the Prime Minister Shamil Adzynba.
According to him, the Abkhaz side and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Goznak" already "come close" to signing a contract for the development of systems and accounting issue identification documents of RA, as well as a contract to supply the passports forms.
At the same time, as emphasized by the head of the delegation of Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Goznak", deputy director general Victor Barilkin, before signing the documents already begin preparatory work on the project.
In addition, according to Victor Barilkin in the period from April 1st to July 1st this year is scheduled to complete the preliminary design document, the purchase and installation of equipment and software for data centers personalization in Abkhazia. And from 1st August 2015 to 30th January 2016 -to issue 250 000 internal passports of RA.
In the country should be open 13 points for processing and issuing passports, where people will be able to deliver the required documents, take pictures, and then get ready for a passport or residence permit.
The documents will have a high degree of protection of the personal data of the owner of the passport including exclusive security features, as well as durability and strength.
The project is planned to spend about 40 million rubles. The cost of the passport will be 135 rubles, with a circulation of 150 thousand, and the price of the form of a residence permit - 188 rubles, circulation 50,000.
"Now we are waiting for an advance copy", - said in conclusion Shamil Adzynba.
The Republic of Abkhazia and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Goznak" are implementing joint projects for the production of driving licenses, tax stamps, passports, commemorative coins, etc.
