Stavropol. June 25. Apsnypress. Italian business mission in the North Caucasus began in Stavropol. The conference organizers - the Federal Ministry for the North Caucasus, General Honorary Consulate of Italy in the Southern and North Caucasian Federal District in the city of Krasnodar and Stavropol Territory government.
Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Abkhazia, at the invitation of the Honorary Consul General of Italy in the Southern and North Caucasian Federal Districts Pierpaolo Lodigiani, took part in it.
The purpose of the event - establishment of business contacts and support trade and economic relations.
At the conference spoke Pierpaolo Lodigiani, Honorary Consul General of Italy in the Southern and North Caucasian Federal District Yuri Murga, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory Soslan Abisalov, First Deputy Director of the Department of investment projects of the Ministry of the North Caucasus of Russia, representatives of the business community of the region.
The conference included presentations of the republics. Vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce of Abkhazia Adgur Lushba, made a presentation of the economic potential of Abkhazia, after which the representatives of the Italian business community expressed great interest in agriculture and tourism cluster of the Republic.
Business mission includes: plenary sessions, conferences, round-table discussions and bilateral meetings with the participation of Russian and Italian businessmen, representatives of chambers of commerce and regional authorities. It is also expected to visit the Nevinnomyssk GRES, kennel "Gardens of Stavropol" waste recycling companies in the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic, as well as resorts of Caucasian Mineral Waters.
The business mission will end tomorrow, June 26.
