IVF technology will be available for residents of Abkhazia

At the Republican Hospital doctors from the Moscow clinic "AltraVita" held a seminar about vitro fertilization for Abkhaz colleagues.

Sukhum. April 22. Apsnypress. This is the first introductory seminar in cooperation with the Abkhaz clinic doctors. In the near future our specialists will go on an internship at the clinic "AltraVita" and their Russian colleagues will come to Abkhazia in May to accept first patients in collaboration with local experts.

Great importance of cooperation with the clinic noted the head of the department of Gynecology of RH Bella Piliya: "The problem of infertility is very sharp for the country. According to the hospital, there are up to 20% of couples who suffer from this. Abkhazia is a small republic and opening here IVF lab will be unprofitable. Therefore, cooperation with clinics is very important for Abkhaz doctors",- said Piliya.
