  According to Kan Kvarchiya, acting deputy head of the Administration of Sukhum, Roman Shoua, was entrusted with preparation of a defective act on the state of the entire embankment: “This is a project in which the parameters of the overhaul should be laid down. Including the reconstruction of the columns. It was believed that it was enough to replace the plafonds, but, in my opinion, it is necessary to place an order and cast new ones on the model of those installed now. In addition, a complete replacement of the coating is necessary, it will be paving stones. It’s also important to plan recreation and remote trading areas correctly. ” At the same time, Kvarchiya noted that paving stones are planned to be purchased from local manufacturers. “But we will have serious quality requirements for them,” - he stressed.
 
According to Kvarchiya, the issue of reconstruction of the embankment was previously discussed with Head of State and Prime Minister: “The embankment is a visiting card of the capital, it is necessary to overhaul it in the Investment Program project, as large amounts of money are needed for this work.”
