It is important that the experience of your structure is transferred to our local structures. I hope that every year our capacity to undertake this work will increase", - said the head of state. Khadjimba wished Drndarski success in future missions and handed a letter of thanks and a set of commemorative silver coins with the temples of Abkhazia.
In turn, George Drndarski thanked the Government of Abkhazia and President for the help and support that have been provided for the promotion of their activities . "I'm leaving calm, I know that foundation that we have laid together for the three years of my work here is solid. We still have a very competent and professional local team, which will continue all the programs, also know that the authorities are to continue to provide support. Also, I'm sure I will come back here as a tourist and a friend", - said Drndarski. According to him, the main task of the mission to date, search for missing persons and work on an identification will be continued to the end. "The success that we have achieved together with the Cabinet of Ministers of the Abkhaz is very large. 37 people have already been identified and the remains returned to the families. This is a good result", - said Drndarski.
George Drndarski will stay in Abkhazia for some time in order to meet and enter the state of affairs of his successor - the Italian Mauro Morabito, who will arrive in Abkhazia on November 30 .
