Khadjimba congratulated Leonid Tibilov on the Day of recognition of South Ossetia's independence

President of the Republic of Abkhazia Raul Khadjimba congratulated President of the Republic of South Ossetia on Independence Day recognition.

 "Dear Leonid Kharitonovich!
 
 On behalf of the people of Abkhazia I congratulate you and all the inhabitants of the sister Republic of South Ossetia on the Day of  Independence Recognition!
 
 Eight years ago, at a difficult time for our countries, historical justice finally triumphed - the independence of our countries had been recognized by the Russian Federation.
 
 This day was really crucial for our peoples. After going through the war trials, we have survived and won the recognition of our independence.
 
 Of course, we have a lot of work to do. We faced many more challenges. But today we have proved that the Republic of Abkhazia and the Republic of South Ossetia is a sovereign and independent state. And, I am sure, soon the entire world community will aware that there are no other ways of development for our countries.
 
 I am convinced that South Ossetia will continue to grow in the desired direction, and fraternal relations between our countries and peoples will grow stronger with each passing year.
 
Let me once again congratulate you on the Day of the recognition of independence, and wish all the people of South Ossetia peace and prosperity".
