Khajimba: Abkhaz-Russian business forum plays an important role in the development of economic relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation

The IX Abkhaz-Russian Business Forum opened in Sukhum.

Sukhum. October 12. Apsnypress. The IX Abkhaz-Russian Business Forum began its work in Sukhum. Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Adgur Lushba addressed the participants and guests of the forum with a welcoming speech from President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba:
 
 “Dear guests and participants of the forum!
 
 I greet you on the occasion of the opening of the IX Abkhaz-Russian Business Forum.
 
 Welcome to Abkhazia, to our expert business platform. The annual Abkhaz-Russian business forum plays an important role in the development of economic relations between the Republic of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation and, in general, actively contributes to the strengthening of relations of alliance and strategic partnership between our countries. Its role in this direction is significant and clearly visible.
 
 Thanks to the efforts of the leadership of Abkhazia and Russia, our joint forum develops every year, it becomes more in demand, weighty and, most importantly, it is increasingly aimed at achieving practical results.
 
 Today, representatives of the government, business community and the scientific community gathered to discuss pressing issues on the topics of foreign economic cooperation, further development of the tourism sector, banking sector, information technology, and other related areas in the economy.  

  I am confident that in the course of a constructive, meaningful dialogue, you will be able to exchange views and experience, identify existing problems, and lay a solid basis within the forum for implementation of new joint initiatives and projects that meet modern requirements.
 
 I would like to note that meetings of this level within the framework of the Abkhaz-Russian business forum have undoubtedly become a useful and good tradition, as evidenced by the theme of the plenary session of the forum - "Abkhazia-Russia: 10 years of intensive cooperation, current achievements and new horizons."
 
 Dear friends!
 
 We, as before, are ready to work together and implement mutually beneficial projects, which would serve as an additional impetus for deeper integration of the economic relations between Abkhazia and Russia. Only joint, properly built work will yield positive results and will be able to ensure the growth of our trade, economic and investment ties. I have no doubt that by uniting all our efforts together we will be able to cope with the difficult challenges of the modern world.
 
 I expect that within the framework of the forum, appropriate proposals and recommendations will be developed on the topics outlined and indicated above, and work will be done to further expand the ways of building up mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries.
