Khajimba: power is criticized to demonstrate opposition

  Head of state commented on the political situation in the country, noting that the government is criticized a lot, somewhere justifiably, and somewhere indiscriminately, simply to demonstrate opposition to the authorities. "But not all problems can be solved in such a short period of time," - Raul Khajimba said.
 
 At the same time, Khajimba noted that the Constitution defined the term of office of President, which he will execute until 2019.

 In addition, Raul Khajimba gave an assessment of the socio-economic situation in the country: "Many people say that life in the country has become worse, and in general everything is bad. Indeed, in the field of tourism in the past year, there has been a decline in all our capabilities by 30-35%. But who said that few people started to visit our country? Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs have not yet learned how to pay taxes. Our budget is 5 billion, and could be 8-10 billion. But many do not want VAT to be levied so that the border worked more clearly and rigidly and the border along Ingur River would really be provided with the state's tools."

President recalled that there is a low tariff for electricity consumption in Abkhazia, but at the same time the lowest percentage of the collection of electricity fees.

 Discussing the latest events, Head of State noted that the exchange of prisoners for South Ossetian prisoners was made "proceeding from the circumstances, at the request of South Ossetia" and the Constitution was not violated at the same time. "We want the lives of people be improved, salaries and pensions risen, but at the same time we create permanent situations of rallies," - Khajimba said.
   
 In conclusion, Head of State answered the questions of meeting participants. In particular, Raul Khajimba instructed head of Gagra District Administration Zaur Bganba to solve electricity problems in Bagripsh village. "Within a week, inform me about the replacement of the transformer," - Khajimba said.
