Lavrov: We are intended to consistently increase support for Abkhazia at the international arena

 
 "We are intended to consistently increase support for Abkhazia at the international arena and, of course, look forward to a close co-ordination within the framework of the Geneva Discussions on Transcaucasia, especially in terms of promoting legally obliged agreement on non-use of force", - Lavrov said.
 
 "I know that on November 9, Sukhum expects a delegation of intermediaries that participates in the Geneva discussions, - the minister said. - We are interested in your estimates of upcoming meetings".

  Russian Foreign Minister said that Russia and Abkhazia are now working on about 30 new joint documents.
 
 "Our relations are of allied character. We are guided by agreements that are reached at the highest level ", - Lavrov said, recalling the meeting of the presidents of the two countries in February this year.
 
 He noted that there are more than 90 joint documents between Russia and Abkhazia, that indicate the strength of bilateral ties. "The planned joint work on the conclusion of additional agreements continues, - Lavrov said. - Now there are 30 joint documents elaborating".

  "We give priority to our social and economic cooperation, assistance in the restoration of the Republic of Abkhazia", ​​- said Russian Foreign Minister.
 
 Sergey Lavrov said that the two countries are successfully operating the investment program for 2016-2017. The Minister also recalled that in August this year in Moscow there was a meeting of the joint Russian-Abkhaz intergovernmental commission on trade-economic cooperation, and the 7th Abkhazian-Russian business forum will be held in Sukhum after 10 days. 

 "It is encouraging that 30 subjects of the Russian Federation have stable structured relations with the Republic of Abkhazia. We encourage it in every way ", - Lavrov said.
