Sukhum. May 18. Apsnypress. Raul Khadjimba told about the results of the negotiations with the Russian President Vladimir Putin, held on May 15 in Sochi.
At the meeting, two presidents discussed issues on attracting Russian investments in the eastern part of Abkhazia, the inclusion of the republic to the program of the Russian Federation on import substitution. Also they discussed the possibility of writing off part of the railway loan or a restructuring.
Also, Raul Khadjimba and Vladimir Putin discussed issues such as the gasification of the republic, the restoration of the airport, implementation of the new amounts of funding social services starting from June 1 - an increase of pensions and salaries to certain categories of state employees, as well as issues related to the improvement work on the Abkhaz-Russian border and the launch of electric trains.
In anticipation of the tourist season, parliamentarians interested in the possibility of increasing the number of border and customs checkpoints and issues relating to health centers MVO and PVO, environmental issues and more.
Raul Khajimba hopes to work together with the legislative branch of government in the development of the new legislation.
