The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia sent a congratulatory note to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic on the occasion of the Republic Day.
Sukhum. September 2. Apsnypress. The note says, in particular:
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and has the honor to convey its most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Republic Day! This important date marks a new phase of development of your country, the beginning of its progressive movement forward.
The fateful decision taken on the 2 September 1991 opened to the people of Nagorno-Karabakh the way of forming their own state, opportunities for comprehensive development. Over the years, united by high goals of creation, the leadership and people of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic have managed to build a stable foundation which allows today to conduct active work to effectively address social and economic problems, ensure safety and welfare of the country.
