Minec adjusted the deadlines for putting into operation the objects of Investment Program 2017-2019

The RA Ministry of Economy held a meeting where the relevant protocols were signed.

Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of the Republic of Abkhazia Kristina Ozgan at a meeting with representatives of the Capital Construction Department and contracting organizations discussed the deadlines for completing work at the facilities included in the 2017-2019 Investment Program. According to the report, Kristina Ozgan informed about the approval of the deadlines for the completion of work and emphasized: “I will not dwell on the impressions that we have developed as a result of the audit. I just want to hear from you a specific position regarding these terms, and your assurances that all obligations undertaken will be fulfilled. ”

For his part general director of RUE "Chernomorenergo" Aslan Basariya spoke about the implementation of construction work at two substations "Sukhum-1" and "Gudauta", which began at the end of last year. “Last year, about 20 million rubles were spent on the 110 kV Sukhum-1 substation. The work has been completed, the module and part of the power equipment have already been installed. Due to coronavirus pandemic, the process of ordering and delivering certain equipment has become more complicated. With adequate delivery times, all work will be completed within the agreed deadlines, ” he explained.

At the same time, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy emphasized that there are no claims regarding the deadlines for RUE “Chernomorenergo.”
Following the meeting, all contractors signed the relevant protocols on the completion date.

Kristina Ozgan noted that the work at the facilities will be constantly monitored by the Ministry of Economy and instructed the UKS weekly to inform about the progress of work. According to her, in case of disruption of the approved work schedules, the Ministry of Economy will apply to the relevant authorities for taking measures of influence.
