Draft agreements on compulsory health insurance and providing drugs preferential categories of citizens at the level of the Ministries of Health of Abkhazia and the Russian Federation have finalized.
Sukhum. July 2. Apsnypress. Work on the drafting of the two agreements was completed yesterday at a working meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers. Further projects should be agreed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Social Protection on both sides.
Assistant of the Health Minister of Russia Anatoly Gulin noted that the process of preparing a draft agreement has been extended, but understanding of the parties on the issue of the availability of affordable medical care easier task.
"These agreements are defined in the development of the Treaty of Alliance, signed by our countries. So they fit into the paradigm and framework of the Treaty. We are expanding opportunities for citizens of the Russian Federation and Abkhazia who have dual citizenship, to obtain free medical care in clinics of the Russian Federation and the medical support of privileged citizens who enjoy the benefits of, or are entitled to the benefits ", - said Gulin.
Minister of Health of Abkhazia Andzor Goov said that all work on the agreements are subject to the terms set by the Treaty, and noted that in drafting the agreements the Russian side met interests and all wishes of the Abkhaz side, "they tried to take into account the maximum our wishes. We agreed because we did not have significant differences. Both sides were satisfied ", - he said.
He also said that in addition to these agreements, the parties discussed cooperation in other areas related to the health system of Abkhazia and Russia: the training of medical personnel, information technology, which should be applied in our country, equipping, and others.
