Ministry of Economy of Abkhazia is preparing a draft agreement on duty-free trade with Syria

The Minister of Economy of Abkhazia announced this at a meeting with the delegation of the People's Council of the Syrian Arab Republic.

Sukhum. October 4. Apsnypress. Minister of Economy of the Republic of Abkhazia Adgur Ardzinba received the delegation of the People's Council of the Syrian Arab Republic. The official website of the Ministry of Economy of Abkhazia reported.  

 Greeting the guests, Adgur Ardzinba said: "I met with the Syrian counterpart, the Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, took part in the meeting with the Prime Minister, communicated with the Syrians at the sites of the International Damascus Fair. The people of Abkhazia have also been tested by the war, and we fully support the Syrian people in the fight against terrorism. " 

 For his part, the head of the delegation, the observer of the People's Council of the Syrian Arab Republic, Sanaa Abo Zayed, thanked the Minister of Economy for the reception and noted that Syria is optimistic about the development of relations with Abkhazia. "Our visit will be the beginning of practical cooperation between our countries. The purpose of the visit is to prepare concrete proposals for cooperation and submit them to the Government of Syria, " - Sanaa Abo Zaid said. 

 In his turn, Adgur Ardzinba informed that the Ministry of Economy is preparing a draft agreement with the Syrian Arab Republic on the duty-free trade regime between the countries. 

"Our task with you, statesmen, is to create conditions in which the business will be able to interact comfortably," - the Minister of Economy summed up. At the end of the meeting, the delegation presented a memorable gift to the Minister of Economy.
