Due to heavy rainfall in the territory of Adler district and village Kudepsta of Khosta district of Sochi was introduced state of emergency. The weather affected the border region of Abkhazia.
Sukhum. June 25. Apsnypress. Emergencies Minister Leo Kvitsinia told about the situation in the border village of Gyachripsh where due to heavy rains damaged 11 houses.
"Fortunately, there is no victims among people, but first floors of homes and gardens are flooded. On the Abkhaz-Russian border because of raising the level of the river there was a landslide in the area of the cargo customs ",- said Kvitsinia.
He also said that the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Abkhazia do not remain indifferent to the situation in Sochi and Adler. Leo Kvitsinia communicated with the Deputy Head of the Main Directorate of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Krasnodar Region Nikolay Shustov and offered him help.
Russian Emergency Situations Minister thanked colleagues for the attention. As Kvitsinia, there is a constant exchange of information. "If you need our help, we are ready", - said Kvitsinia.
