Minister of Health conducted a routine inspection as part of the verification of readiness for the new tourist season of health facilities in Eastern Abkhazia.
Sukhum. June 19. Apsnypress. Minister of Health visited health facilities of Gali, Tkuarchal, Ochamchira and Gulrypsh and republican specialized psychiatric hospital.
Tested medical equipment, and the availability of the required reserve for emergency medicine.
"Now is the period of heat when physicians must be prepared to provide timely medical assistance to people in case of poisoning as well as a variety of insect bites. It is essential to follow the quality of drinking water", - said Andzor Goov.
On Saturday, June 20, the inspection will be continued in hospitals, sanatoriums and health resorts of Gagra and Gudauta district, as well as first-aid post on the border with the Russian Federation. The main emphasis during the inspection of objects of Western Abkhazia will be placed on the sanitary-epidemiological condition.
