More than 2 thousand people returned to Abkhazia from Georgia during the pandemic
There was opened a humanitarian corridor to Abkhazia through the Ingur checkpoint until July 17.

Sukhum. July 15. Apsnypress. Citizens and residents of the Republic of Abkhazia continue to return to Abkhazia through the Ingur checkpoint along the humanitarian corridor, which is open until July 17.

As the press service of the State Security Service of Abkhazia informed Apsnypress, 442 citizens and residents of the Republic of Abkhazia returned through the Ingur checkpoint in 2 days.

At the Ingur checkpoint of the Republic of Abkhazia, from 13 to 17 July, a humanitarian corridor was temporarily opened to receive citizens and residents of Abkhazia in Georgia. The humanitarian corridor was also opened from May 26 to May 31, when 532 residents returned to Abkhazia. And also, from 22 to 24 June - 1,111 people returned to the country.

All citizens arriving from Georgia are required to undergo medical and sanitary control of their health status.
