Sukhum. July 17. Apsnypress. Regular consultations were held within the framework of the mechanism for foreign policy coordination established by Memorandum between Russian Foreign Ministry and the Abkhazian Ministry of Foreign Affairs of March 11, 2015.
The report clarifies that the consultations were attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Abkhazia to the Russian Federation Igor Akhba and Director of the Fourth CIS Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alexey Pavlovsky.
They discussed topical issues of Russian-Abkhaz relations, including improving the legal framework for bilateral cooperation.
During the consultations, the sides exchanged views on foreign policy cooperation and the expansion of Abkhazia's international positions.
