 Opening the forum, the participants were welcomed by chairman of the Association of non-profit organizations of Abkhazia, president of the "International Fund of Apsny" Soner Gogua: "Today's Forum is the first big step in the further construction of the state. Non-profit organizations have long been working in our country. Immediately after the War of Abkhazia, the state could not solve the problems of the population on the international platform. The support of the people of Abkhazia in those difficult times was provided by non-profit organizations. "

 Gogua also noted that non-profit organizations function all over the world and even in highly developed countries. Abkhazia should take into account world experience and start fruitful work in this direction. "To do this, we need to analyze the problems of the population, since in each region of Abkhazia the problems are individual. Then you need to draft a solution to problems and only then look for funding. This requires considerable effort. Of course, the state must solve the problems of the population, but can it succeed in all directions? Probably there are no such countries all over the world. And a large role in this work is played by non-profit organizations. We are going along a democratic, independent path of state formation. To do this, we need the unification of the people, " - said Soner Gogua.
