Oleg Bartsits: it is necessary to eliminate all obstacles for getting domestic products to the Russian market

The VIII Abkhaz-Russian Business Forum is taking place in Sukhum.

At the Plenary session of the VIII Abkhaz-Russian Business Forum, Oleg Bartsits, Abkhaz trade representative in Russia, noted that this site confirmed its high reputation: "This is the space where representatives of government bodies, business communities , heads of regions can discuss all relevant issues. I think that such meetings and discussions will provide answers to those topical issues  faced by the economy of Abkhazia and, in general, by the country. "
  
 At the same time, Bartsits stressed that in previous years there was created a serious potential, which was expressed in the agreements and in the signed documents, communications between the ministries, departments and economic entities established. "We are in dire need of modernization, which should touch upon the foundations and principles of the country's economic activity. These principles are quite simple - competence, responsibility, efficiency and focus on the final result, which directly depends on the control over the decisions made, their rigorous execution and, of course, depends on the responsibility for non-fulfillment of these decisions, " - he said.
  
 Oleg Bartsits reminded the start of the project on the establishment of the Trade House of Abkhazia: "Exactly one year ago, at the Seventh Abkhaz-Russian Business Forum, the Trade Mission of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation and the International Cultural and Business Center of Abkhazia initiated the idea of ​​establishing a trading house of Abkhazia. Today we have passed the main stage of the project implementation. We signed an agreement between the Trade Representation of Abkhazia in Russia and the Eurasian Business Union on cooperation that will allow the creation of Trading House. "
  
 The trade representative of Abkhazia in Russia spoke about the problems faced by Abkhazian producers and the prospects for promotion of Abkhaz products at the international level: "We are well aware that the Abkhaz manufacturers in the majority do not have large production capacities that allow producing a large number of products. At the same time, they are well equipped technologically. But it is problematic to interact with large trading networks of Abkhaz businessmen, since such networks operate in the long-term planning mode, and our producers can not provide large volumes. With the realization of such a format as the Trading House of Abkhazia, our producers will have an opportunity to present their products on the sites of the Eurasian Business Union. The effectiveness of the project is obvious for all of us - we are engaged in promoting the Abkhaz brand. In addition, already from next year the Russian market will get serious export products of "Abkhazian honey". To do this, we need to finish the plant for cleaning and packing honey in the shortest possible time. The products of our beekeepers are of high quality. This is proved by the fact that at the exhibition "Golden Autumn" the Abkhazian honey won a gold medal. I think it is necessary to eliminate all obstacles for getting domestic products to the Russian market. This way should be as short and comfortable as possible, from the production in the territory of the Republic of Abkhazia to the shelves on the Russian market. The trade mission of the Republic of Abkhazia in the Russian Federation will provide maximum assistance to Abkhaz producers. "
