Speaking at the Plenary Meeting of the VIII Abkhaz-Russian Business Forum, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for North Caucasus Affairs Olga Rukhullaeva noted that dialogue between authorities and business is important for the growth of business economic activity, and the Forum is such a platform, contributing to the formation of a business climate in Abkhazia and strengthening interstate cooperation in the field of entrepreneurship.

 Olga Rukhullayeva told about bilateral international cooperation: "The important role in the economic development of Abkhazia is played by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Abkhazia, which effectively interacts with the Russian Chamber of Commerce and its regional offices. In addition, the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the affairs of the North Caucasus is one of the key branch partners of Abkhazia and the government authority of the Russian Federation, which is actively involved in the process of social and economic development of the Republic of Abkhazia. Particular emphasis is placed on supporting investment activities. With the participation of Russian banks, projects worth a total of about 2 billion rubles have already been supported and financed.
