Opera singer Said Gobechia participated in the I International Contest of Vocalists named after Feodor Chaliapin

Young opera singer from Abkhazia Said Gobechia was awarded a special prize at the I International Vocal Contest named after Fyodor Chaliapin.

Sukhum. September 27. Apsnypress. A graduate of the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, winner of international competitions Said Gobechia participated in the I International Vocal Competition named after Fyodor Chaliapin, which was held in Ufa (Bashkortostan). The contest was held in the Ufa Institute of Arts, in the Concert Hall of Chaliapin. At the end of the contest, charity fund named Mustai Karim awarded participants with 10 special prizes. Abkhaz opera singer Said Gobechia was presented a special prize for the best performance of folk songs.
 
 According to Said Gobechia, he performed folk song "Gudisa" at the contest in the new approach of RA People's Artist Vasily Tsargush. "I am very pleased to sing songs in my native language. They pass through the soul. Unfortunately, there is a little bit of Abkhazian folk songs in my repertoire. But every time I perform them, I feel a great responsibility ", - said Said Gobechia.
 
The jury was represented by prominent figures of culture and arts of Russia.
