Opposition representatives are offered posts in power structures

The People's Assembly of the Parliament of Abkhazia held a briefing on the talks of co-chair of the Bloc opposition Aslan Bzhaniya and President Raul Khajimba.

Sukhum. 16 December. Apsnypress. Opening the briefing, Speaker of the Parliament Valery Bganba said: "We for the second day are  working on the negotiation process in order to find ways that will exhaust the current conflict".
 
 Bganba informed: "We managed to avoid a confrontation. We constantly have negotiated with the bloc opposition in different formats . Today we have met a few times, there have been raised questions, which are not so easy to solve. The final meeting was held with participation of the President, Speaker of the Parliament, representatives of the opposition bloc. There will not be President's resignatio!"
 
 The Speaker noted that the opposition had agreed to the proposals-posts in the government, put forward by Prime Minister Beslan Bartsits. In particular, representatives of BOF were offered the post of Deputy Prime Minister, Attorney General, four members of the new composition of the CEC and two candidates for the Constitutional Court. "No one has ever objected to young people working in different ministries, as deputy ministers, heads of departments, so there is a change of generations", - said Valery Bganba.
 
The Speaker also said that the Parliament would guarantee the implementation of the "Agreement on the social and political stability" to be signed by the government and the opposition. "We, together with the Presidential Administration and Aslan Bzhaniya will prepare this document. It is not correct to talk about the fact that someone won and someone lost. Abkhazia and our people have won today! We were able to find a way by which we can get away from the conflict. We showed everyone that we can come to an agreement!"
